My question is what do you do as a great grandmother? My answer is to love her and appreciate every minute I have with her.

Two things: Kerry Byrne is excellent to the 10th power! Best advice I've globbed onto is . . . shut up and open your wallet. Just sayin' . . . .

I'm very touched by this piece and can definitely see the opportunity to explore new territory. I'm wondering if you'd consider expanding on the personal material at the beginning for an essay for Many Voices, the paid subscriber "page" of seventysomething. I'd love to include your writing. Would you like to send me something to be posted on June 25? I LOVE THIS SUBJECT.

I would love to. Just to clarify, are you looking for a "me and my grandfather" kind of a piece, or something else?

So happy you're interested. I'd like to hear more about your seeking for growth in the grandfather department and how your relationship with your own grandfather imprinted itself on you..... In other words, an expansion of the personal aspect of your substack post without the various references to other people's work.
