Great listen! I could hear the passion and drive in Matt's Voice. I'm wondering though, instead or in addition to but instead of building more on open land, why not consider revitalizing areas of decay in cities/counties? All those boarded up places that could create blocks of little comfort communities. There is already too much concrete and raping of land. redevelopment specifically for the communities in mention. The shift in being openly gray is happening but slowly. when will it be fully realized? Maybe in my reincarnation! 😀
Great idea, Michelle. Low cost land is critical to creating more affordable housing for seniors. Revitalizing land where we can is certainly worth pursuing. Thanks!
I've been thinking about just this, Michelle! I lived for awhile in Macon, Georgia, and you could buy a dilapidated empty house for as little as a thousand bucks, or maybe a whole street of them. It's a great idea.
