Testing of mental acuity as well as presence of personality disorders in the two main candidates early in the process might be a good idea. Ethical, unbiased examination of results and transparency of same.

I am one who highly resents ageist thinking. I am 84 years old and I am me - not a stereotype of what people think an 84 year old is.
