This problem of needing someone briefly in the morning and again briefly at the end of the day has been a tough one for my sister to solve. Sounds like these folks have a handle on it.

great idea! Definitely good for everyone. The client, the helper, the family and the government.

What a dynamite idea! I sure hope this comes to NYC because I can think of at least a dozen people who'd take advantage of this service immediately. (I might even arrive at reading "Nabors" without thinking "Gomer Pyle".) Thanks for bringing this concept to our attention.

We must be the same age, because Gomer Pyle was also my first reaction.

Good news indeed. In Scotland, my granny had a "carer" to come in, vacuum, make her bed, and have a wee chat. They can also supervise taking medicines. These carers were (and hopefully still are) provided by local government. I don't have much hope for that happening here, but this sounds like the next best thing.

Agreed - not likely here, and next best thing.
