Ashton is an inspiration, I am surprised at how much I didn't realise I was ageist, and I also love her philosophy of seeing ageing as a positive and inspirational part of life, not something to be dreaded and feared.
She's absolutely right in saying that this is the prejudice that we will all encounter at some point in our lives, and it's time we rise up against the current trend of assumptions about what getting old entails.
