Just this week I learned that two of my teenaged granddaughters are on antidepressants. I, myself, use an antidepressant. Mine started with Covid isolation. Theirs has to do with body image, peers, negative phone messages. So thankful for new meds that help. My mother should have been on something in her waning years. I regret that.
Well written with good practical advice. I say this as a lifelong fellow traveler. Meds made a world of difference.

My father also could have used medication, if it had been available. We were fortunate to be born when we were.
