I have witnessed the toll of Alzheimer's on both family members (strong genetic component, sadly) and friends. One curious quality shared by most of these loved ones was this: They were the brightest, most intelligent, vibrant, fun-loving, compassionate, resilient, and giving people I've ever known. I can only hope that the suggestions you've raised here will help others stave off this terrible disease. Thank you for sharing this.
I'm on board with all the ideas you put forth! I hope readers won't ignore the practice of meditative focus. It's been generally helpful to me, aside from the hope and possibility of keeping the mind sound.
Many, many thanks for your commitment to share your writing, research and thoughts to all. Much appreciated, needed.
Thank you for your kind words. I am delighted to know that some of these ideas resonate with you.
Don, Excellent in sight.
Thanks! Hope you find it useful.

Thanks for your comment, Jackie. I guess we'd better get busy on our mental pushups!

Thanks, Bev. It has made a big difference for me too.
