It was my favorite job from my teenage years, improving my mental and physical well-being while giving me a sense of purpose that was missing from my earlier job at Taco Bell. Now that I am retired, I plan to take your advice and seek out a volunteer community that can use my skills.
This is a terrific essay and manages to be uplifting in the face of such a dire situation. I'm amazed by how sober and well-informed you are about our collective future and how we can influence it.

The environmental design is the hidden force that guides much of human behavior. How difficult, in the Tirana, city of flowers, now ruined by the disastrous interventions of the local government.
The productive behavior change doesn’t come without a battle, but by supporting each other it can be done.
Much of what we attribute to luck is a product of environment forced by the serious incapacity of the leaders.
