We just experienced this phenomenon when the insurance company issuing our condo home owner's policy refused to renew. In order to get insurance, the HOA had to contract with one of those companies from a high risk pool at a greatly increased cost.
The question becomes both physically and metaphorically…where can we run to?…..but I may be right behind you.
We live in Maine which luckily seems immune, at least for the time being , to major hurricanes, but flooding is increasing and we actually do have earthquake insurance. So….keep on keep on’ on.
You just keep coming up with relevant, important topics — and put the work into them. Thank you!
Of course here in California, the issue is earthquake insurance. A can of worms all its own.
Stay safe!

Honestly, Don, I'm paying more for everything these days! It's craziness!! Thanks for another great post.
