Thank you for your profoundly wise newsletter which always is so rewarding to read! I have been thinking about that ageism is like a kind of speciesm: older people / aging people are considered / treated like some kind of other species - although every human being is always the continuation of his or her previous self and does not suddenly mutate overnight (e.g. when reaching retirement age) into another species (which e.g. suddenly has no more wishes, desires, goals, dreams, preferences etc.). I have searched the internet and ChatGPT to see if there is any research on "Ageism as Speciecism", but have not found anything yet. Perhaps this might be a possible topic/interesting thought for your newsletters? - Thank you very much for your excellent, deeply meaningful and very helpful work which is based on such brilliant, profound intelligence and sensitivity, as I delightfully note when opening each of your newsletters! Kind regards, Delia
Delia, thank you so much for your kind words. I am pleased that you find the newsletter valuable, and I thank you for that interesting topic idea. I will do some research and see what I can turn up.
I think all your topics could be expanded/built on possible to include parts; Part 1,2,3 etc since there is so much to discuss . I still think that you could make this into a Netflix or filmed documentary of sorts possibly with local film maker (rich Chisolm comes to mind-he made “the gun show” and “walk with Frank”). Anyway, nice Donologue. Congrats on all your well deserved success.

A documentary? Fascinating idea to ponder.
Glad to hear your good news, Don!
