I'm pretty comfortable with my age these days(63) and far happier now than anytime before. Also, I'm in touch now with my spiritual self and she's a hot brunette with a lot of good ideas on how to keep busy. (Of course, I'm referring to writing, reading, puzzles, and baby-sitting the grandkids!) 🤣

Don, thanks for this. I know exactly what you mean about being ageist towards oneself! I’m familiar with Becca Levy’s book and her research. I don’t find it terribly convincing other than in the broadest brushstrokes… 7.5 years longer in lifespan?? Maybe. But positive thinking definitely makes for a happier “healthspan.”
