Ashton Applewhite is among the foremost activists calling attention to ageism in our culture and its harmful effects on old (and young) people. She is the author of This Chair Rocks: A Manifesto Against Ageism. She is also a primary resource for the movement as co-creator of Old School Anti-Ageism Clearinghouse.
